This is what my Bronco looked like when I bought it 1979 Bronco Custom. I was stationed at Eielson Air Force Base, near Fairbanks Alaska. Alaska is one huge playground, and I needed a vehicle that could take me anywhere I wanted to go. It was solid with no rust except for the lower tailgate. It also came with a set of American Racing wheels, and new 35x12.50 15 BFG All-Terrains. Motor, tranny, and x-fer case had all been rebuilt about 50,000 ago. I drove that thing everywhere, and through everything you can think of. It never once let me down. I remember one winter evening it was 50 below zero outside, and the Bronco had been sitting for a few days without being "plugged in" to keep everything from freezing. I went outside and she fired right up....but I can tell you I have never heard the kind of chatter from an engine before....damn it was cold up there in the winter. I ran that Bronco hard for three years, and when it was time to leave I decided to bring her home with me instead of selling it.

When I bought it, the guy really had a hard time parting with it, and now I know why. He just made me promise to take really good care of it, and to keep it in good shape. Ohhh man, if he only knew the plans I had for that Bronco's future......
